Ralph P. Whitney, lifetime Pueblo resident, late of 457 Olive, passed away, St. Mary-Corwin Hospital, July 24, 1973. Mr. Whitney was retired from CF&I Steel Corp. Charter member, Lake Avenue Baptist Church, Fin & Feather Club, Retired Men's Club, South Pueblo Lodge 31, AF&AM, Southern Colorado Consistory and Royal Arch Mason, Lodge 12. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gladys M. Whitney of the family home; two daughters, Mrs. Clair Maye Harris and Mrs. Betty Vincent, both of Pueblo, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche Barns, Fort Worth, Tex. Three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Services 10:30 a.m. Saturday, T. G. McCarthy Chapel, with the Rev. Harold R. Tuttie, pastor, Lake Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. Interment Roselawn.
