Edward is the son of the Hon. Justice Joseph Francis Daly, and Emma Robinson Barker Daly. He was educated at Columbia University and is shown in the yearbook as a thespian. He practiced law at #52 Wall Street, New York City. He married Kathleen Ewing 13 Oct 1910 at the home of his bride's mother, presiding was Archbishop Farley. A wedding breakfast followed and a honeymoon in Europe. He and Kathleen are the parents of three daughters, Virginia M, Elizabeth T, and Eleanor Daly.
