Obituary - Aug 1961 - reads:
'Frank E. Adamek Dies Here Wed. - Frank E. Adamek of Rt. 2 Hallettsville, died Wednesday at Rengers Hospital. He was 56 years of age.
Mr. Adamek was born Oct. 27th, 1904, in Lavaca County. He was a lifetime resident of Rt. 2, Yoakum and was a prominent farmer in that area.
Services are set for 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Buffington Chapel and at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Jansky will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Peters Adamek of Yoakum; two sons - Weymon and Donald, both of Yoakum; his mother, Mrs. Caroline Adamek; three brothers - Joseph of Shiner, Johnny of San Antonio, and Charley of Kerrville; and three sisters, Mrss. Annie Lahodny of Shiner, and Mrs. Louis Bartos and Mrs. Jane Goodson, both of San Antonio.
