son of Harry Frederick Spoon and Della Mae Branson

Willard Wilson Spoon, 70, of Springtown, died Sunday, May 7, 1989, in a Fort Worth hospital.
Born on July 23, 1918 in Saint Jo, Texas, he moved to Waurika, Okla. as a child and lived there for 30 years. He moved to Fort Worth in 1947 and worked for Associated Milk Producers, Inc. as a milk hauler for over 25 years. He moved to Springtown in 1958 and was a member of the Springtown Church of Christ. He was a member of the Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge 59, Weatherford.
Survivors include one daughter, Debby Spoon Thomas, of Springtown; two sons, Willard (Bill) Spoon, of Springtown; and Jim Spoon, of Springtown; one brother, Millard Milton Spoon, of Van Nuys, Calif.; and seven grandsons.
Services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, May 10, at the Springtown Church of Christ, with Dale Fondille officiating. Burial will be in the Springtown Cemetery, with White's Springtown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
