Noah A. Beachley, 83, well-known retired farmer, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, at his home near Garrett, after a lingering illness. He was born July 16, 1865, a son of the late Peter and Phoebe Beachley. His wife, Mrs. Cora Brant Beachley, preceded him in death by two years. He was a member of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Earl Walker, Garrett RD 1; Mrs. Bruce Lichty, Cumberland, Md.; Nevin Beachley, living on the home farm, and by four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m., at the Beachdale Church of the Brethren, the Rev. A. J. Replogle officiating. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
