Walter D. Ferguson

Girard, Nov.7.- Walter Dale Ferguson, aged 50, of 2 Zeller Court, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, at 2:45 a.m. today of complications following a stroke Sept.24.

Mr. Ferguson was born in Youngstown Dec. 11, 1898, and resided in Girard for 22 years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and was employed at the McDonald plant of Carnegie-Illinois Steel Corporation.

He leaves his wife, Sadie Thomas Ferguson, to whom he had been married for 30 years; a son, Walter of Girard; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph M. Orthland, Mrs. Joseph Moss and Mrs. John Bodovnyk, all of Youngstown; and six brothers, Richard, Joseph, William, Henry, Alexander and Thomas, all of Youngstown. A son, Robert, was killed in action in January, 1944.

The body is at the Blackstone & Reese Funeral Home, where the family will meet friends from & to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
