Fontella Napier, 76, of Deputy Indiana , passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012 at King's Daughters' Hospital Madison, Indiana. She was born on April 22, 1935 in LaFollette, TN, she was the daughter of the late Millard and Bertha (Violet) Boshears. She worked as a Nurses Aid and was the caregiver of Emma Napier her mother-in-law and a member of The Valley Settlement Old Regular Baptist Church in Deputy Indiana. Survivors include:
Son: Donald Napier, Paris Crossing, Indiana; Son: Ronald "Blue" Napier, Scottsburg, Indiana; Son: Virgil (Tammy) Napier, Paris Crossing, Indiana; Son: Victor (Pat) Napier, Paris Crossing, Indiana; Brother: Clarence Boshears, Springfield Ohio; Brother: Nash Boshears, High Point, Ga.; Brother: Eddie Boshears, Alabama; Brother: Arnold Boshears, North Vernon, Indiana; Sister: Flossie Robbins, Butlerville, Indiana; Sister: Faye Engrim, Masa, Alabama.; Sister: Frances McCarty, LaFollette, TN.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Buchanan Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Shuler officiating.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Friday March 2, 2012 and after 1 P.M. Saturday March 3, 2012 at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Collins Cemetery Deputy, Indiana. Memorials:American Cancer Society c/o the Funeral Home.
