WILFRED F. CLEMENS

Wilfred F. Clemens, 53, of 2627 Pinard Street, died suddenly at 1:15 Sunday at the family home.

Friends may call at Behr’s from which the funeral will be held to Holy Ghost church at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Born Sept. 25, 1896, in Dyersville, he came to Dubuque as a child and has resided here ever since. He was employed at the Dubuque Packing Company. He was a member of Holy Ghost Church and the packinghouse union.

On Aug. 26, 1926, he was married to Miss Monica Gansemer in Dubuque, who survives, as do the following. Six daughters, Monica, Mary, Helen, Evelyn, Margaret Ann and Cynthia, all at home; one son Robert, also at home: three sisters, Mrs. Willard (Celeste) Duggan, Mrs. Robert (Delores) Downes, and Miss Mary Clemens, all of Dubuque, and two brothers, Peter Clemens of Kentucky and Albert Clemens of Dubuque.

He was preceded by one sister and three brothers.
