Mrs. Caroline M. Hogentogler, forty-five, wife of Charles Hogentogler, 137 South Fifth Street, Columbia, who died Saturday at 8 a.m. in the Columbia Hospital after an illness of several months, was born in Columbia, a daughter of Edward Feltch and the late Lillia Black Feltch. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church. She is survived by her husband; her father; and the following children: Caroline, Betty Mae, William, Charles and Harry, all at home, and Melvin, Fort George Meade. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Melvin Smith, and two brothers, William and Gardner, all of Columbia. (Lancaster New Era - Aug 5, 1946)
