Ruth died Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Albany Area Hospital.
Ruth was born in Albany Twsp. To Edward and Wilhelmine (Heuher) Christen. She married Frank Katzner in November of 1935 in Albany. Together they farmed west of Albany. Ruth was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
Ruth is survived by her son, Eddie, Albany, and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1992, and sisters, Grace Lemke and Irene Salzl. Arrangements were made by Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Homes, Albany.
