GENESEO - Lucy Murphy, 95, died Oct. 30. 1984, at Sandstone Heights Nursing Home, Little River, after a long illness. Born Lucy Ball June 25, 1889, in Rice County, she married Frank E. Murphy Feb. 19, 1908, at Frederick. He died in 1962. She had been a lifetime Rice County resident.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, UMW and Rebekah Lodge, all of Bushton.
Survivors: several nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David Trott. Burial at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons. Memorials to the church.
