Homer was born in Norwood, Missouri, the son of Oscar and Chloe (Young) Jones, and was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a resident of Fairfax, OK for many years. He married Florence Lorraine (Wood) Bell October 14, 1972.
Mr. Jones died Thursday, October 19, at his home on South Second Street. He was 82.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine, of the home; three step-sons, Jerry, Jimmy, and Larry Bell, all of Fairfax; one brother, James Jones, Fairfax; four grandchildren, and many other more distant relatives and friends.
Arrangements were by Hunsaker Funeral Home with Rev. Don Wood Officiating graveside services On October 23, 1989.
