Jo Helen Smith passed away surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, February 29, 2012. She was born January 13, 1928 in Talco, Texas to Will and Izora (Diggs) Randle. Mary worked as a cook for the Harts Bluff School and was a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children Paul and Gail Smith of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Shelia and David Moon of Omaha, Texas, Patricia Southern, Debbie and Benny Holcombe and Pam and Robbie Pate all of Mount Pleasant, Texas; 11 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren; a sister Jean Dennis of Greenville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Willard Smith, 5 sisters and 2 brother.

Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel with burial to follow at Gladewater Cemetery. Bro. Bill Whitaker and Bro. Tommy Horn will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, at the funeral home.See More
