Johnny Ballard, 80, of Midland, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Midland. Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Service is at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with burial in Fife Cemetery in McCulloch County.
Johnny served his country in the US Army and is a Korean War Veteran.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Ruby Hudgins Ballard, four daughters, Sharon, Marilyn, Connie, and Jennie; two sons Monty and Tony; and a sister Georgia Ann Courtney of Brownwood, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him like their own Dad, Brother, PawPaw & Friend.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, John Albert & Leah Maude Smith Ballard, one brother, Billy Prince Ballard, and one son, Joe Ballard.
