- Buren Franklin Randle, age 92, formerly of 106 Buren Dr., Grover, passed away August 26, 2006 at the home of his step-daughter in Polk City , Florida.
He was born on December 14, 1913 in Grover, NC, son of the late Frank and Alsic Shepard Randle. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Rebecca Randle and a great nephew Dale Randle.
He retired from Hambright Oil Company of Grover, NC. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Grover, NC. He helped organize the Grover Rescue Squad in 1961 and was a Honorary member of the Grover Fire Department. Mr. Randle lived most of all of his life in Grover. He moved to Florida in February 2005 due to health reasons.
SURVIVORS: Step-daughters: Barbara Gunter and husband Bob, Polk City, FL.
