From The Morning Press, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, July 18, 1951: S.F. Welliver, well-known resident of White Hall, Montour county, died at the home of his son, Paul P Welliver at Kunkletown, Monday afternoon. He had resided with his son for the __? Year, but had been born and spent most of his life in Montour County. He was born October 10, 1863, son of the late John and Sarah Welliver. He was a member of the White Hall Baptist Church and the Exchange Lodge of Odd Fellows. He is survived by two sons, John P., of Kunkleton and Ralph E, of Brion, Mich., three grandchildren; a brother, Jacob, of Bloomsburg R.D; and a sister Mrs. James Hile, of Allentown. Funeral services will be held Thursday at three-thirty o'clock at the White Hall Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Reese officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Church cemetery.
