Zenith Woodruff Alexander, 86, passed peacefully in her sleep at her daughter's home in Aiken, S.C., Sunday evening, July 11th, 2004. Preceded in death by her husband Rolland H. Alexander and her parents Ellen Tolbert Davis and Walter Woodruff. Also preceded in death by a brother Howard Woodruff, sister Betty Osbourne, and granddaughter Karen Jane Kirk. Survived by her three daughters, Ellen Mae Kirk of Columbus, Barbara Jane Tullos (William Szpak) of Aiken, S.C., and Virginia Alexander Gex (Joseph) of Waveland, MS. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Zenith was born in Dennison, OH in 1918. She was a graduate of North High School, Class of 1936 and a lifetime member of the North High School Womens Alumnae Association. Zenith resided in West Jefferson, OH for 36 years where she was a charter member of the Jeffersonians Senior Citizens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either the North High School Womens Alumnae Association, 501 Kembrook, Worthington, OH 43085 or the Regency Hospital Hospice Association, 105 Summerwood Way, Suite D, Aiken, S.C. 29803. Graveside service Thursday 2 p.m., Kingwood Memorial Park, Delaware County. Minister Chad Babbert officiating. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.
