Mary was the daughter of Silas Nathaniel Cracraft and Ruby Felecia Blatt Cracraft.

Mary A. Blanchard

Mary Alice Blanchard, 70, Lamoni, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at Des Moines (Iowa) General Hospital.

Mrs. Blanchard was born January 10, 1930, in Lamoni, Iowa. She graduated from Lamoni High School in 1948. She married Charles Logan Blanchard in 1948. They lived in Columbia City, Ind. until 1953 when they moved to Independence. In 1986 she moved to Butler, Mo. where she worked at the
Butler Public Library. In 1991 she moved back home to Lamoni. She was an elder in the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints. She was very active in the Davis City congregation and in the Clown Ministry. She was also active
in Crown Colony activities, the Card Club, the Miss Fits bowling league, and was instrumental in organizing the Lamoni Alumni High School Association. Her interests included collecting angels, clowns, and bells.

Her survivors include her five children: Charles Curtis Curt Blanchard and wife Kathy, Leon, Iowa; Charlene Hudson and husband Jim, Independence; Cheryl Hebblethwaite and husband Larry, Butler, Mo., Chris Blanchard and wife Jetta, Independence, and Crystal Carpenter, Nevada, Mo.; 15
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers Nate Cracraft Jr., Eagleville, Mo. and Raymond Cracraft and wife Toni, Branson, Mo.; sister Joanne Flowers and husband Raymond of Independence; and an aunt, Nola Dawson, Lamoni.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Slade-ODonnell Funeral Home in Lamoni. Her son, Elder Charles Curtis Blanchard and daughter Elder Cheryl Hebblethwaite will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery,
Lamoni.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Davis City RLDS Church or to Crown Colony in Lamoni in Marys memory.
