Funeral services for Annie Mae Abron of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012, at Morning Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold B. Nash, Sr. officiating.
Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Cason with Lydell Peterson, Norris Davis, Jerrod Jackson, Roderick Godbolt, Broderick Godbolt, Joel Peoples, Randall Godbolt, Myris Abron and Patrick Morgan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Morning Chapel Baptist Church.

No formal visitation is scheduled.

Annie Mae Abron passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Cason on June 28, 1921, the daughter of Wister Godbolt Sr. and Clara (Tucker) Godbolt.

She married Ernest Abron in Cason. He preceded her in death in 1985.

Mrs. Abron was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one daughter, Annie L. Abron of Longview; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Traylor; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Cleora Turner, and one brother, Wister Godbolt the 1st.
