Margaret H. Miller, age 81, of Allen, Texas passed away February 17, 2011. She was born June 21, 1929 in Dallas, Texas to Clyde Dee Peck and Wilda (Rhody) Peck. On January 14, 1959 she married John R. Miller in Durant, Oklahoma. Margaret worked as an Election Judge in Collin County for over 40 years where she presided over 117 plus elections. She also volunteered her services for the Allen Police Department and Citizens on Patrol. She was a member of the Eastern Star and recently received her 50 year award. Margaret was a founding member of Allen Heights Baptist Church She is survived by her son, John Dee Miller and wife, Elisabeth of Plano and grandson, Jacob Miller, of whom she was very proud and earnestly supported him through football and his becoming an Eagle Scout. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Wilda Peck and husband, John R. Miller. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. John Felty officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
