Ira E. Auchampaugh, 85, of Niskayuna died Sunday August 14, 2011 at The Avenue Nursing Home in Schenectady. He was born November 10, 1925 in in Delanson NY, and was the son of Ira M. and Inez (Dare) Auchampaugh. He graduated from the Mont Pleasant High School in Schenectady. Ira was employed for 30 years in maintenance for Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. He also worked as a farmer in Altamont for many years.
