Services for Andrew Cloyd Jr., 84, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Rix Funeral Directors with the Rev. Jack Tutor officiating.

Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.

He died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at his home.

He was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Pampa. He married Eunice C. Booker on Oct. 4, 1951, in Lubbock. He had lived in Sweetwater since 1967. He worked for West Welding Supply where he was office manager and bookkeeper from 1967 to 1979. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He graduated from Texas Tech with a bachelor's degree in 1939. He moved to Lubbock from Sweetwater in 1997.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Brenda Kay O'Briant of Austin; and a granddaughter.
