William Ray Allen, 76, of Lyons passed away at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born July 15, 1935 in Lyons, he was the son of Thurlow and Hazel M. (Weaver) Allen.
He was a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church and enjoyed working on cars.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie T. Allen and Junior L. Allen, and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Lyons. Interment will be in Prairie Chapel cemetery in rural Lyons.
