died Sunday (Aug. 25, 1991) in
Madison Manor Nursing Home. He
was 86.
The Rev. Charles Marable officiated.
burial followed in the Prosperity
Cemetery.
A native of DeKalb County, he was
the son of the late David E. and Sally
Roberts Luna. He was a retired
farmer and a member of the Stateline
Friendship Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Donald
and Norris Luna, both of Huntsville,
Ala.; four daughters, Ruby L. Mooney
and Ina Wallace, both of Madison,
Lois Askins of Hazel Green and Peggy
Kelley of Arab, Ala.; a brother, Robert
Luna of Huntsville; a half-brother,
W. R. Luna of Cash Point; a half-sister,
Nova Jaco of Champane; 22 grand-
children, and 25 great-grandchildren.
