Funeral Services For
William H. Day Held
Funeral services for the late Wil-
liam H. Day, 69, pioneer Pottawatomie
county farmer and stockman, who
died Tuesday evening at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Walter White, 1135
East Farrall, were held yesterday af-
ternoon at Earlsboro. Reverend Bow-
ers of that city was in charge and
burial was in the Earlsboro cemetery.
Day was born at Vandalia, Ill.,
June 5, 1858. He was united in mar-
riage in April,1883 to Miss Ella An-
drews, who died October 6, 1893. Two
daughters were born to this union.
Mrs. Faye White, with whom he made
his home, and Mrs. Blanche Shelton,
also of Shawnee.
Day came to Pottawatomie county
in 1898 and made his home in Shaw-
nee or near Earlsboro even since. For
the past year he has been living with
his daughter. He is also survived by
two brothers, J. F. and C. R. Day,
both of near Earlsboro.
