Leona Lorene Axsom, 97, of Norman, died at 9:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 at her grandson's home with family.
She is survived by daughters, Phyllis Axsom of Norman and Jo Ann (Marc) Henderson of Evansville; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Opal Starnes and Eathel Axsom; and a sister, Lottie East.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown with Larry Tedrow and Barry Dewitt officiating.
Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery in Norman.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
