S F Ashley, 45, Fisher county farmer died in the Stamford Sanitarium, Sunday of Pneumonia. Mr Ashley was brought to the hospital in critical condition and failed to rally.
Funeral services were held in Rotan Monday with Kinney Funeral Home of Stamford directing the funeral. A native Texas Mr Ashley had lived in Rotan for a number of years. Survivors include his widow, Emma, three sons and two daughters all of Rotan; his mother Mrs A E Ashley, three brothers and five sisters.
