Hampton Funeral Service Obituary:

Mary Colvard Triplett Potter, age 90 passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Glenbridge Health Care.

Survivors include two daughters, Martha Teague and her husband, Jack of Vilas, NC and Willa Lee Triplett of Georgia; a brother Carl Colvard of Conway, SC; two sisters Northa West of Boone, and Hazel Aldridge of Vilas; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, also a number of nieces, nephews and her Glenbridge family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Donald Triplett, her second husband, Stanley Potter, her father and mother Earl Elmer and Onie Hayes Colvard, a son William Earl "Billy" Triplett, four brothers Edward, Henry, Junior and Howard Colvard and one great-granddaughter Christa Dawn Cornett.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Potter will be conducted Sunday, February 26th, at 3:00 o'clock at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state from 1 until 3. Dr. Sonny Younce and Reverend Max West will officiate. Interment will follow in the Adams Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 until 3 at the funeral home.
