Robert and Georgiana (Pominville) Jenkinson. In the year of
attaining his majority he came to Minnesota and acquired eighty acres of land in Money Creek Valley, Wiscoy township. He improved and developed the land and prospered with the years until he owned 240 acres. About 1880, however, he sold out, and moved to section 17, Pleasant Hill township, where he had purchased a farm of 440 acres. He made a specialty of stock and grain raising.
A Republican in politics, he did excellent service as town assessor for many years. He was also a. member of the Pickwick Lodge, No. 110 A. F. and A. M. of Pickwick, Minn. Mr. Jenkinson died March 4, 1900, and his death is sincerely mourned.
Albert Jenkinson was married July 30, 1863, to Lorinda Latimer, born in New York state, August 20, 1846, daughter of Chauncey and Eliza (Dingman) Latimer. This union has been
blessed with eight children Anna, Hattie, Myrtle, Ed. A., Olive, are living; Minnie, Nellie and Della are deceased.
Anna was born March 26, 1865, was married March 16, 1884
to Louis Perry, and has two children. Hattie was born February 15, 1867, was married March 19, 1885 to Almond Poland, and has six children. Myrta was born June 6, 1879, was married September 25, 1901 to Fred Casler, and has three children. Ed. A. was born December 12, 1882, married Winnie Stinsen, and has three children. Olive was born February 9, 1885, and was married March 8, 1913 to John A. Perry. Minnie died in infancy; Nellie died at eight years of age; Della was born November 23, 1874, died February 3, 1896. She was married April 30, 1892 to Daniel B. Clark, they had 2 children.
