GLENVILLE - French Clay Bailey Jr., 65, of Glenville died Oct. 1, 1997, in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, after a long illness.
He was retired from Equitable Gas Co. with 18 years' service, a Marine Corps veteran and a member of First Baptist Church, Glenville.
Surviving: son, Clay Allen Bailey of Mount Clare; daughter, Cheryl Annette Bowers of Spencer; sisters, Roberta Schochof Slaterville Springs, N.Y., Elladene Heskett of Weston; brother, Richard Bailey of Weston; three grandchildren.
Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Funeral Home, Weston, with the Rev. Gary Knox officiating. Burial will be in Weston Masonic Cemetery.
