In St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1875, Peter Regenvetter married Miss Christina, daughter of Peter and Christina (Slater) Reiter. Her parents were born and died in Germany, and she too was a native of that country, but came to America at the age of twenty-two. She passed away at her home near La
Conner March 3, 1904, after having borne to Mr. Regenvetter eight children, namely, Frank and Peter, twins, born in La Conner December 15, 1876 ; Annie, in Coupeville in 1881, now at home; Mary, deceased ; Jack, born in La Conner April 20, 1883, now justice of the peace of La Conner precinct; John, Katie and Emma, deceased. The last three died of diphtheria about three years ago, the dread disease taking them all inside of two weeks.
