A native of Concordia, Kansas, A member of Carpenter's Union Local No. 162, Holy Name Society of St. Matthew's Church, San Mateo Council No. 1346, Knights of Columbus and Fra Crespi Assembly 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 13, 1853 at 6:30 a.m. from the chapel of Patterson & O'Connell, 126 Second Avenue, San Mateo, thence to St. Matthew's Church, where a Requiem High Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul commencing at 9 o'clock. The Rosary will be recited this evening (Monday) at 8 o'clock. Interment St. John's Cemetery, San Mateo, Calif.

Degree, Knights of Columbus are requested to assemble at the chapel of Patterson & O'Connell, 126 Second Avenue, San Mateo, this evening (Mon.) to participate in the recitation of the Rosary for our late Brother Semerria Peltier, Sr.

Peltier, Church Sexton, Dies
Semmeria Peltier SR., 64, sexton at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in San Mateo, died last night at Mills hospital after a short illness. A native of Concordia, Kan., he had lived here for 10 years. He resided at 724 South Delaware Street.
His wife, Roseanna, was killed last year by a train at the Fourth avenue railroad crossing.
He is survived by six sons, Emmelien Peltier of San Mateo, Ulysses Peltier of Bakersfield, Semmeria Peltier Jr., of San Mateo, Albert Peltier of San Mateo, Adlore Peltier of San Mateo and Francis Peltier of the U. S. navy; four daughters, Mrs. Wayne Meadows of Sacramento, Mrs. Earl Smith of Castro Valley, Mrs. James Jefferies of San Mateo and Rose Marie Peltier of San Mateo, and five sisters, Mrs. Freme Bonneau, Mrs. Delphos Bonneau, Mrs. Eva Giroux, Mrs. Mary Charbonneau, all of Concordia, Kan., and Sister Mary Peter of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Concordia.
He was a member of carpenters' union local 162 of San Mateo; San Mateo Council 1436, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, and the Fra Crespi Assembly, fourth degree, Knights of Columbus. Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at Patterson and O'Connell chapel. A high requiem mass will be recited tomorrow at 9 a. m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.
