John H, Franklin Taken By Death
Rites Thursday For Father Of 9 Children
John H. Franklin, 93, resident of Nichols Street, West Danville, died at 9:20 o'clock Tuesday night at his home after an illness of five years. He was born Feb. 17, 1854, in Nichols county, had lived here about 30 years and was last employed as a farmer. Survivors include four sons, Will Lewis and Charley Franklin, all of Danville, and Ray Franklin, Stanford, and five daughters, Mrs. Everette Parker, Mrs. Lonzo Anderson, Mrs. Jim Middleton and Miss Mary Franklin, all of Danville, and Mrs. George Wig gins, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the graveside in Bellevue cemetery with the Rev. Proctor E. Barber, pastor of First Church of God, officiating.
