Mrs. J. T. Eason Claimed By Death
Mrs. Delia Connelly Eason, 87, of 139 Maple Avenue, widow of J.T. Eason who died Sept. 18 last, succumbed at 7:30 o’clock this morning at her home, after having been in ill health for more than a year.
She was born Oct. 24, 1868, in Maysville, but had lived here practically her entire life. She and Mr. Eason marked their 61st wedding anniversary last Sept. 9. Both were members of SS Peter and Paul Church in Danville. Survivors are three daughters, Miss Elizabeth Eason, Danville; Mrs. Fred- Kallmeyer, Covington, and Mrs. Pope Underwood, Richmond, Va.; a nephew. Walter Hensley, Danville; three sisters, Mrs. D. J. Ferguson, Mrs. W. F. Hannah and Mrs. W. S. Hollingsworth, all of Danville, and six grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in SS. Peter and Paul Church. Burial will be in Bellevue cemetery. The body is at Stith funeral home.
