Mrs. Eula Mae Coble Davis 90, of 5363 Old Fayetteville Road, Garland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 24, 2012.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 27, 2012 at Cypress Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born on January 1, 1922 in Bladen County to the late Grover C. and Hettie Cain Coble. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph F. Davis; her stepmother, Katie Coble; a son, Milton L. Davis; a son-in-law, Robert Tuttle; four brothers, Paul Coble, Nelson Coble, R.J. Rice and Johnnie Rice; and two sisters, Margaret Pate and Elsie Coble. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a faithful member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church where she was the oldest living member.
She is survived by: two daughters, Hettie Bullard and husband, Archie of Fayetteville and Jannie Tuttle of Fayetteville; one son, Larry F. Davis and wife, Beatrice of Dayton Beach, FL; one stepson, Jarvis R. Davis and wife, Sandra of Garland; one sister, Jane Howard of Garland; one brother, Harvey Coble and wife, Evelyn of Garland; and sister-in-law, Louise Coble of Clinton; eight grandchildren, Robert Tuttle and wife, Faith, Maurice Bullard and wife, Suzanne, Michael Davis, Michelle Foltz and husband, Tony, Jennifer Davis, Austin Davis and wife, Lori, Joseph Davis and Kayla Cole; and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
