On January 18, 2012, Robert Ornduff passed away in his home, in the company of his family. Robert was born in Hermiston, Oregon May 22, 1929. He was one of two sons of Otto Ornduff and Winifred Finnigan. His family settled in Hillsboro, Oregon on Chehalem Mountain. Robert graduated from Newberg High School in 1947. He met his wife Marguerite his junior year. They married in 1949, and had three children. Robert was preceded by his daughter Carolee and survived by his wife, son Keith (Patty), son Danny (Tina), seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing at 3:00 Monday, January 23 at Alternative Burial 8970 SW Tualatin Sherwood Road, Tualatin. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 Wednesday, January 25 at Mt. Olive Cemetery of Laurel, SW Campbell Road, Laurel. A celebration of life will follow at the Scholls Community Church, 24050 SW Scholls Ferry Road, Hillsboro.
