Funeral services at Mt. Zion at 1:30 P.M. with Rev. Layne of Waterloo Circuit.
Descomb Anderson Rose was the son of Rev. Jehu Rose and Elizabeth Jane Niday. He married Sarah Alice Wiseman on Nov. 02, 1880 in Gallia Co., Ohio. They had five children: Ollie Rose m (Samuel H. Davis), Chancey Andrew Rose m (Chloe Barnett), Col. Edwin Jehu Rose m (Ruth Shaffer), Eva May Rose m (Robert Wilson) and Bessie Florence Rose m (Clarence Massie).
Descomb was a farmer and a teacher in the Gallia Co., schools.
Descomb and Sarah were my g-grand uncle and aunt.
