Of Route Two, Bonne Terre, passed away at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis at 74 years and 18 days of age.. Son of the late Austin and Eliza Jane Butts House. United in marriage Sept. 4, 1904 to Martha Ellen Forshee who preceded him in death.
Survived by two daughters: (Iona) Mrs. William Hagan and (Beulah) Mrs. William Koppel, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons: Donald and Owen, both of St. Louis; one sister: Mrs. D.M. Roberts of Bonne Terre; one brother: Albert of Frankclay; a host of relatives and friends.
He was a retired maintenance man of the St. Louis Globe Democrat and a member of the Carondelet Baptist church.
Body lay in state at the Boyer-Benham Funeral Home. Services held in the funeral home chapel by Rev. Clifford Wigger. Burial in St. Francois Memorial Park.
