He was born in Taunton and has lived in Freetown since 1957. He was formerly employed by the Coca Cola Bottling Co., for 30 years as a vending machine mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed being with his family.
He was the father of the late Richard P. Bernier; and brother of ten other late siblings.
Visitation will be Thursday evening only 5-8 PM at Rock Funeral Home. Services will be in the Funeral Home on Friday at 11 AM. Interment Chace Cemetery.
