Widower of Mary Elizabeth Coward Rawlinson, Son of the late Abraham and Florence Sloan Rawlinson. He was retired from farming and from ASCS as a supervisor. He was a World War II Coast Guard veteran. He was a Mason and a member of Manning First Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Willa Smith and her husband, Jake, of Isle of Palms; a son, Carey Lee Rawlinson Jr. and his wife, Glenda, of Palm City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Kalooky of Matthews, N.C., Chad D. Smith of Columbia, Blake R. Smith of James Island and Stacey Marsengill of Wellington, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Sarah and Matthew Marsengill.
