Mr. Robinson, a native of Brookston, had lived in Lafayette since childhood. He had been employed at Duncan Electric Company for 30 years. He was a member of International Union of Electrical Radio and Machine Workers Local 812.
He married Dorothy J. Brickler on Sept. 7, 1929, at Kokomo, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Russell L. Robinson of Lafayette and Robert L. Robinson, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Friend of Battle Ground and Mrs. Leland Mallory of Lafayette; three brothers, Rubbin Robinson and William Robinson, both of Lafayette, and Clay Robinson of Sebastian, FL; and eight grandchildren.
