MILTONVALE - Edith Viola Breen, 88, Miltonvale, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1993, at Asbury-Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina. Mrs. Breen was born Edith Viola Shepard on March 30, 1905, at Miltonvale and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and a member of the Miltonvale American Legion Auxiliary.
Her husband, John Thomas Breen, died in 1968.
Survivors include two sons, Leo of Concordia and Johnnie of Puerto Rico; three daughters, LaDonna Didde of Belleville, Irene Green of Pharr, Texas, and JoAnn Hauck of Miltonvale; a brother, Loren Shepard of Miltonvale; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Miltonvale, Monsignor John George Weber officiating. Burial will be in Miltonvale Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the Phelps Funeral Home, 217 N. First, Miltonvale, 67466. Visitation will be at the funeral home.
