Blaine was born on March 4, 1997 in Waco, Texas to John and Jill (Pronger) Killian. He attended Stratford High School, and had been a resident of the Stratford community for six years. He was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Stratford where he enjoyed participating in the youth activities and the Mission Trip group. Blaine was a fun loving and active boy, who was blessing to his family and all who knew him.
Blaine loved school, and was a member of 4H, the One Act Play group, band, FFA, UIL Academics, the golf team and the Texas Junior Hereford Association. He was a volunteer at Imagination Station, and also spent time helping out at his Dad's veterinarian clinic and on the family ranch. He enjoyed participating in livestock shows, hunting, and spending time with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jimmie Pronger, and his cousin, Esther Killian.
Blaine is survived by his parents, Dr. John and Jill Killian; one sister, Katherine Killian; two brothers, Kavan and Bryce Killian, all of Stratford; grandparents, Alfred Pronger of Stratford and Dr. James and Marjorie Killian of Houston; three aunts, Jana Pronger of Borger, Moira Davis and husband Mel of Sugarland, and Sheila Killian of Houston; five uncles, Fred Pronger and wife Marsha of Stratford, Jeff Pronger of Stratford, David Pronger and wife Karen of Burleson, James Killian and wife Joung of Cameron, and Dr. Michael Killian and wife, Dr. Maie Killian of Round Rock; cousins, Janell Miller and husband Jason of Abernathy, Patrick Pronger and wife Sarah of Sunray, Caroline Pronger of Burleson, Brent Pronger of Burleson, Robert Killian and wife Chika of Japan, Bryan Killian of Denton, Matthew Killian of College Station, Meredith, Reilly & Maxwell Killian of Round Rock, and Ben Davis of Sugarland; and numerous other family members.
The family will miss their beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin. His legacy will live on through Life Gift Organ Donation. With his gift, there will be 70 – 80 lives saved or affected.
