Louise O'Berry Hodge, 88 of Hortense, Ga. died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 after an extended illness.
The Brantley County, Ga. native was a member of Atkinson Church of God, was a homemaker and enjoyed cross stitching and fishing. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh Hodge and her son, Earl Crews.
Survivors are 2 step-sons, David Hodge of Hortense, Ga. and Henry Hodge of Mandarin, Fla.; a granddaughter and caregiver, Nora Cleland of Hortense, Ga.; several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Hortense Church of God and Prophecy with her grandson, Hugh "Bubba" Hodge and Rev. Charlie Brown officiating.
Interment will be in the Hortense Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the church.
