Ralph Follett Correll, 72, Topeka, died this morning in a local hospital following a short illness. He was born November 2, 1899 in Chanute and had lived in Topeka since 1944. He attended the University of Kansas and was an office engineer for the Santa Fe Railway for 47 years until his retirement in 1969. He was a life member of the American Railway Engineering Assn., a member of Elks Lodge No. 204 and St. David's Episcopal Church and a veteran of World War 1. He was married March 5, 1926 to Mabel Craig at Arkansas City. She survives at home. Other surviors include a son, Ralph F. Correll, Jr., Topeka; sister Mrs. Kenneth Kern, Wheaton, MD; and a granddaughter. Graveside services will be Saturday at Mount Hope Cemetery with a requiem Eucharist following at St. David's Episcopal Church. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
