The funeral for Mrs. Sallie Moser of Claremont was held Monday morning from Mt. Calvary Lutheran church there with the pastor, Rev. R.B. Sigmon, officiating. Burial was in the Claremont cemetery.
Widow of John Moser, the deceased was 78 years old. She died Sunday morning after a lingering illness. Her parents were the late Fredrick A. and Julia Ann Deal Hoke of Claremont.
Mrs. Moser was a charter member of Mt. Calvary. Her survivors include two sons, Frank of Lenoir and Robert Moser of Claremont; six daughters, Mrs. E.P. Sigmon, Mrs. E.M. Brown, and Mrs. Emma Loop, all of High Point, Mrs. G.C. Huitt of Hendersonville, Mrs. E.C. Hewitt, and Miss Rose Moser of Claremont; one sister, Mrs. W.K. Carpenter, and two brothers, R.L. and Lee Hoke, all of Claremont.
Flowers were carried by members of the church and pall bearers were nephews of Mrs. Moser.
