Richard Allen Adam, 80 Richard Allen Adam, 80, passed away February 21, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a previous resident of Upper Providence, PA, Windsor in Glen Mills, PA and was currently living at Riddle Village, Media, PA. He was a graduate of Media High School, class of 1948, Pennsylvania Military College, class of 1962. He was the general manager of UFF Machine Company in Upland, PA. He was the past president of Media Youth Center. He was also a member of Broomall's Lake Country Club, Edgemont Country Club, Masonic Lodge George W. Bartram #298, F&AM Lodge (P51), and HGWELLRAC#202. He was a 4 year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Aircraft Mechanic. He was pre-deceased by his parents Herman W. and Francis (Fink) Adam. Survivors: He was the loving husband of Roberta McClure Adam for 58 years; brother of William Adam of FL and Donald Adam of SC. Funeral service Saturday 11:30 AM Bateman Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA 19015. Visitation Saturday 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA 19014. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Media Youth Center, P.O. Box 84, Media, PA 19063 and/or a charity of your choice.
