Born in Jakarta, Indonesia. She attendend Wollongong University in Austrila where she received a BS degree in Accounting. She, as many Indonesian people have done, came to America to be free from religious and ethnic persecution in her native Indonesia. She became one of our very close friends. A wonderful woman in every way, she loved life and lived it to the fullest each and every day. She was known to me and all of her American friends as Liana Boop. Taken from us with breast cancer at a very young age. She will continue to live in the hearts of those she has left behind, our lives are much richer and fuller for having her as our friend.
