Carl Raymond Divers, 71, of Rural Carrington, Missouri, died October 2, 1948 at his home. Carl lived all of his life in Round Prairie Township.
Coronor M.P. Garrett, of Fulton, Missouri, ruled death caused by Coronary Occlusion brought on by excitement and over exertion while fighting a grass fire on his farm. The deceased was known to have low blood pressure. The coronor was called and found Carl dead in a field. Informant was his wife.
Carl was born September 12, 1877, in Carrington, the son of S.A. and Martha (Wilkerson) Divers. He married Maude Pearl (?) Divers and she survives at their home. Carl was a life stock farmer.
Two sons survive, Percy and Ray.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wallace Funeral Farm in Fulton, Missouri and burial was in Carrington Cemetary.
