Sallie was a daughter of Judge Jacob S. Galloway and his wife, Mary Eliza Tucker Galloway of Memphis, Tennessee. In 1889 she married George Adriance Storm. They eventually moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Her husband died sometime before 1940 in that town. The couple had five children: Mary Eliza, Helen Adriance, George Adriance, Jr., Jacob Galloway, and Martha G. Storm. Sallie eventually moved to the Los Angeles area to be near several of her children who had moved there.
